At Cafe shizuku, you can enjoy your meal while viewing the scenery from a large window that faces the canal. In addition to gratin and green curry, the Cafe carries their unique versions of Japanese food, Western food, and ethnic food, all of which are healthy and use a lot of seasonal vegetables. Their home-style cooking is comforting and has a mild taste.  Lunch menu is available until four o’clock so you can take your time and enjoy a late lunch.

This is their signature dish - "Shizuku Style Green Curry Rice" Ingredients include lotus root, shimeji mushroom, eggplant, paprika, chicken and others. It comes with unpolished rice, which is healthy. Although the curry is a little bit spicy, it is addictively delicious coupled with the sweet coconut milk.

This is the popular daily lunch set. Its contents change depending on the day, and two different sets are available every day. One of the sets today is "mustard creamed cod and sweet potato", which also comes with unpolished rice. It would be a shame to waste any of this well prepared daily menu.

Light-colored interior, chic chairs and tables and warm wooden floor together create a calm atmosphere.  It makes you want to stick around.

In spring time, you can enjoy viewing the cherry blossom along the canal from the window. What a luxury to be able to view cherry blossom and enjoy a meal at the same time!

They also sell hand-made sweets at the store. All of them look delicious. Daily menu is located at the Cafe entrance.

Just outside Imadegawa-dori street, the Cafe is located at the canal residential area. Their store sign is a large eaves green. This summer marks their ten year anniversary. It seems that the Cafe had been used to shoot location for movie.  It is such a charming place. How about take a walk and stop by?
