"Heian-raku-ichi" is a flea market that started in September 2012. The shops located in it only offer handmade goods.
It is located in "Okazaki koen" (Okazaki park) in Sakyo-ku, Kyoto city. Heian-jingu shrine, Kyoto Municipal Museum of Art, The National Museum of Modern Art Kyoto, Kyoto City Zoo and Kyoto Kaikan Hall(concert hall) are in the Kyoto area which is known as a cultural area with outstanding art. And fittingly, it is an area with many shops dealing with finely crafted handmade goods. There are various items like accessories, bags, children’s clothes, handmade cookies, and homegrown vegetables and fruits. There are also workshops and craft booths that add to the fun.
